The Disappearing Cat
Last week we took Jack in to the vet to get weighed. The result? Jack now weighs a paltry 21.7 pounds (9.84 kg). When we started him on his diet 1.5 years ago, he was 25.6 pounds (11.6 kg). That means he's lost over 15% of his original body weight! Yay Jack!

Good for Jack, although it probably wasn't HIS will power! How much more does the vet think he needs to lose?

All that chasing of chipmunks (and not eating Saru's food) must be paying off ;)
It would be wonderful if we could get him down to 13 pounds, but right now our next goal is under 20.

13 pounds, eh? It will be strange for Jack to not be fat...we have come to expect it from him.
As Jack's original keeper, I quite like his solid physique - as Ryan says - 13 lbs wouldn't be Jack. He's, can we say, big boned? Keep pics of my cat coming!
Surely now you should be fattening him up for Christmas...not slimming him down...
Remember a Jack is not just for Christmas but he can feed a family of eight if you're desperate...
